Mirazur

Mirazur lies at the intersection of two great rivers, their waters converging to form a single channel that flows into the heart of the city. The buildings here are crafted from a unique type of stone that shimmers like moonlight on still water. In the marketplace, vendors peddle wares made from the same material, each item bearing an intricate pattern of geometric shapes that seem to shift and change as one looks at them. At night, the stones absorb the light of the setting sun, casting a warm glow over the city. The sound of gentle lapping against the shore is ever-present, accompanied by the soft murmur of distant bell-ringing.

Near the riverbank, a series of great canals weave in and out of the buildings, creating small pools of water that reflect the signs above the shops like tiny mirrors. In these reflections, one may see glimpses of far-off lands and fantastical creatures. The air is filled with the scent of fresh ink and parchment, as scholars and scribes toil away in their scriptoriums.

Amidst the bustling streets, a lone figure sits atop a great wooden chair, eyes fixed upon some distant point beyond the horizon. This is the Keeper of the Signs, guardian of the city's hidden knowledge and weaver of the intricate patterns that govern its very fabric.
