Kairos

In Kairos, the streets are paved with gears and worn clock faces. The buildings twist like the pages of an ancient manuscript, their wooden frames adorned with intricate carvings of mathematical symbols. In the center of the city, a great palm tree stands tall, its trunk inscribed with the lines of time itself. People gather beneath its branches to trade memories, each one carefully wrapped in dried apricots and sealed with a rusted lock. As they barter, the sound of ticking clocks echoes through the air, punctuated by the occasional clink of gears against stone. The city's inhabitants are masters of the lost art of horology, able to repair even the most broken of timepieces. In Kairos, every moment is a memory waiting to be traded.
