Memoriaria
Memoriaria is a city built upon a vast grid of stone tablets, each one etched with the memories of its inhabitants. The citizens trade their experiences, like worn leather goods, and leave them inscribed on these tablets for others to find. The streets are paved with polished stone that reflects the stories etched into it, creating an ever-shifting mosaic of light and shadow. In the center of the city stands a great temple dedicated to the art of recording and remembering, where priests tend to the sacred fire of stigmergy. The air is thick with the scent of aged parchment and the sound of scratching quills on wax seals echoes through the canyons of memory. When night falls, the tablets glow softly in the fading light, casting an otherworldly radiance over the city's intricate latticework of stories.
