Nihilia
Travelers arriving in Nihilia often believe they have lost their way, for the city is built entirely of negative space. The streets are defined not by paving stones, but by the absence of grass; the towers are visible only because they block the stars. In Nihilia, an object exists only until it is named; once spoken, it vanishes into the white fog that rolls in from the harbor. The inhabitants are silent logicians who trade in errors and paradoxes. They will sell you a map that shows only the places where the city is not, or a book that contains every word except the one you are looking for. To live here is to understand that the foundation of the world is a mistake that must never be corrected.
