The City of the Notebook

The City of the Notebook is a city made of other cities. Every building is a reference to Seoul, or Los Angeles, or a film about Paris. It is a meta-city, constructed from essays, podcasts, and cultural observations.

The inhabitants are flâneurs, walking the streets not to get somewhere, but to understand the texture of the urban fabric. They speak in interviews and think in film critiques.

"The map is not the territory," the cartographer notes, "but here, the notebook is the territory."
